Family Economy...10 year old style!

In response to Tara's "Family Economy" post I wanted to share how we are working our own Family Economy project to bring funds into the home by using the creative giftings the Lord has given all of us.

For Christmas I made earrings for family members. My lovely 10 year old daughter, Isabella, asked if she could make some. Her first pair, (not shown) were so lovely I thought we may have something here! We are in the process of starting an Etsy online store to incorporate several items each of our family members could contribute. The photos above are earrings that Isabella made over the weekend and she also is the photographer! Aren't they WONDERFUL! Don't you just LOVE to see your children BLOSSOM in the gifts the Lord has given them?!

Seeing Isabella grow has been similar to watching Caela as she pursued the Children of Rwanda in raising funds for Sonrise Orphanage 5 years ago. It just WARMS my heart to see each child grow and bloom in their places in the kingdom of God!

If anyone in interested in purchasing these or other earrings available they range between $6 and $10.

Below is Isabella with her American Doll, Jennifer, Christmas Day. Beauty that she is!

Thank you, Tara, for your sweet words! I have to tell you, YOU are blossoming in your LIFE as a Godly Mother and Wife so much that it's eeking out all over all your BLOG FRIENDS! Thank you for your faithfulness and your joy in sharing your life. You have become so precious to me personally and I thank Jesus daily for you and pray for you much.

I was actually thinking today I want to see some more photos of your lovely home, missy! Just a refreshment for the eyes as I get my house under control after a year of Burnout. = )

peace, my friend.
