Friday Favorites!

I've been wanting to start a weekly post on Children's Book Favorites.

I know it's Saturday, but let's just pretend it's FRIDAY! = )

In the last several months Gracie, Liliana, and I have devoured children's books from the library every week! We go, Mommy FILLS my book bag to the fullest it can take and then when we get home it sits at the foot of our bed for nap times, bed times, and afternoon lounges on Mommy's bed.

For this first installment we want to recommend two GREAT books!!!

The first is GOLDIE AND THE THREE BEARS by Diane Stanley

I've been reading this to my kids since Isabella was 2! Just a lovely spin on the classic tale.

Gracie loves to read it to us!

A second family favorite is WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT, by Michael Rosen and Illustrated by Helen Oxenbury...one of my FAVORITE illustrators!

Liliana loves to READ this one to us, too!

We'll be picking out some for next FRIDAY so come visit!
