Some updates:
The CHS Retreat was PHENOMENOL!!! GREAT WORSHIP, GREAT SPEAKER (David Sloop) WOW!, GREAT FOOD, GREAT FELLOWSHIP, GREAT EVERYTHING!!! And Daniel wept profusely when we got home because he missed having everything right outside his door!
Looking at David Hendrickson again for our possible new rector. Please keep that in your prayers.
We had our Power Serve Campaign Kickoff on Thursday night! Brought in $1700 initial pledges! The River Praise Band led us in worship, an old school buddy, Chris Huff did his Elvis Impersonation...SO FUNNY! I spoke along with the Administrator, president of the board, and the president of Cornerstone Fundraising Solutions. Our first donation was given by a family who had no money. They gave us their food money for the week saying, they wanted to believe! What a tremendous gift to have their "two coins"! Which leads me to our prayer request. = )
Please pray for our financial situation. Please pray for my business. And please pray for a possible business idea I have been playing with, for the future, where Bill and I can use the gifts the Lord has given us to serve others in the furthering of His Kingdom as well as support us as a family.
